SMS Consent
This page explains how people consent to receive SMS messages from Fai, what messages may be sent, and how to unsubscribe.
For A2P 10DLC reviewers
This public page is the reviewer-verifiable opt-in evidence for Fai's SMS campaign. The authenticated Fai app uses the same consent language and an unchecked checkbox before SMS can be enabled.
- Review URL: https://fai.family/sms-consent
- The sample opt-in control below shows the mobile number field, SMS selection, unchecked consent checkbox, Privacy Policy link, Terms link, STOP/HELP instructions, message frequency, rates notice, and optional consent language.
- After opt-in is saved inside Fai, consent is stored with timestamp, source screen, disclosure version, and account context.
How people opt in
Fai sends SMS only to people who provide their own mobile number and actively opt in. SMS consent is optional and is not required to create or use a Fai account.
- The person signs in to Fai or accepts an invitation, then opens Settings, onboarding, care-team setup, reminder creation, callback scheduling, or another contact-preference screen.
- The person enters or confirms their own mobile number and chooses SMS as a contact method.
- Before SMS can be enabled, Fai displays a separate unchecked consent checkbox with the full disclosure shown here.
- Only after the person checks the box and saves does Fai record SMS consent with timestamp, source screen, disclosure version, and account context.
Reviewer example: SMS opt-in control
By providing your mobile number and selecting SMS, you agree to receive service-related text messages from Fai by WFM Ltd, including reminders, callback coordination, account/invitation messages, care-team alerts, conversation follow-ups, poor-connection retry messages, and support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.
This public example mirrors the authenticated Fai settings flow used to collect SMS consent. It is shown for carrier and Twilio review; it does not submit data.
Types of SMS messages
- Reminder and appointment follow-up messages requested by the user or their authorized care team.
- Callback coordination, missed-call follow-ups, and conversation continuity messages.
- Account, invitation, onboarding, and support messages.
- High-level care-team alerts where permitted by account settings and permissions.
Frequency, rates, and delivery
Message frequency varies based on the person's schedule, reminders, callbacks, conversation activity, and settings. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to unsubscribe or get help
Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. Reply HELP for help. You can also contact hello@fai.family.
After someone opts out, Fai may send one confirmation message and then should not send further SMS unless the person opts in again.
Privacy of SMS consent data
Fai does not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers, SMS consent, or messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties except as needed to provide the messaging service, comply with law, or protect Fai and its users.
