SMS Consent

This page explains how people consent to receive SMS messages from Fai, what messages may be sent, and how to unsubscribe.

How people opt in

Fai sends SMS only to people who have provided a mobile number and opted in through a Fai account, invitation, onboarding or care-team setup flow, reminder/callback request, contact-preference setting, or another explicit request for Fai to contact them by text.

When SMS is selected as a contact method, the consent disclosure should appear near the phone number or SMS preference control.

By providing your mobile number and selecting SMS, you agree to receive service-related text messages from Fai, including reminders, callback coordination, account or invitation messages, care-team alerts, conversation follow-ups, and support messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.

Types of SMS messages

  • Reminder and appointment follow-up messages requested by the user or their authorized care team.
  • Callback coordination, missed-call follow-ups, and conversation continuity messages.
  • Account, invitation, onboarding, and support messages.
  • High-level care-team alerts where permitted by account settings and permissions.

Frequency, rates, and delivery

Message frequency varies based on the person's schedule, reminders, callbacks, conversation activity, and settings. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to unsubscribe or get help

Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. Reply HELP for help. You can also contact hello@fai.family.

After someone opts out, Fai may send one confirmation message and then should not send further SMS unless the person opts in again.

Privacy of SMS consent data

Fai does not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers, SMS consent, or messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties except as needed to provide the messaging service, comply with law, or protect Fai and its users.
