Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern access to and use of Fai, including the Fai website, web app, voice calls, SMS, WhatsApp, email, reminders, Knowledge, and related services.

1. Acceptance

By using Fai, creating an account, accepting an invitation, or communicating with Fai by phone or message, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. What Fai does

Fai helps people and families stay connected through conversational support, reminders, relationship context, summaries, and shared Knowledge. Fai may use AI to generate responses, extract reminders, summarize conversations, and organize information.

3. Not for emergencies or professional advice

Fai is not an emergency service and is not a replacement for professional medical, legal, financial, safeguarding, or care advice. In an emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate professional.

4. Accounts and permissions

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping account access secure. If you invite family members or viewers, you are responsible for ensuring they are authorized to access the information shared with them.

5. Communications consent

By providing a phone number, asking Fai to contact you, accepting an invitation, scheduling reminders, or otherwise opting in, you consent to receive service-related calls, SMS, WhatsApp messages, and emails from Fai. Message frequency varies based on your schedule, reminders, callbacks, and activity. Message and data rates may apply.

You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages and HELP for help. You can also contact hello@fai.family. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use Fai to harm others, impersonate someone, violate privacy rights, transmit unlawful or abusive content, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use Fai in a way that violates communications, anti-spam, or other applicable laws.

7. User content and Knowledge

You retain rights to information you provide. You give Fai permission to process that information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to provide information about yourself, family members, and other people.

8. AI output

AI-generated responses, summaries, reminders, and Knowledge may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or misunderstood. You should review important information before relying on it.

9. Service availability

Fai may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, delivery of every call or message, or preservation of every transcript or memory.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fai will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new last updated date. Continued use of Fai after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
